Sad to hear of the passing of Mickey Burt, former drummer with Cliff Bennett and the Rebel Rousers, and more recently CL favourites, Chas n Dave. RIP.

The guy was brilliant. No word of a lie one of my favourite bits of drumming ever is a single drum beat in 'Ain't No Pleasing You'. One beat but absolutely sublime. It's at 3.37:

Very sad. Saw Chas n Dave on Friday night. They didn't mention Mick but that might just have been to do with timings. I think it's Chas' son Nick on drums now.0
