    There's a lot of 'I think''s in there but RD's son has said RD needs to improve on his communication skills.

    Quite like that, reading between the lines:

    I just get on with my job.

    Don't know/care if RD thinks I am doing a good job

    If RD thinks I am not doing a good job I will know when he sacks me.

    We've spoken and if he didn't agree we need some players I wouldn't be saying anything (but know he won't pay silly money)

    I think perhaps you need to cut Big Bob a bit of slack as English is not his first language.

    I don't really like this type of things. He can't say anything bad otherwise he is out of job, so we get some 'reading between the lines' stuff which is mainly the spin we choose to put on it. Still, nothing depressing about it; more nothing for me.
