I see that BBC Scotland are showing live, The League Cup game,Rangers v St.Jonstone they have shown several games live over the seasons.Other regions do not seem too.Is it because BBC Scotland have different contracts? or the rest of the regions will not pay for coverage.

You raise a good point though. When ITV had the rights to show highlight of the Football League, there was usually a regional midweek programme as and when there were Tuesday/Wednesday night fixtures - used to be able to head home from Charlton and relive the evening's misery on Carlton Sport. BBC are allowed to show highlights now, but it seems they haven't noticed that there are often Football League games during the week, so we only get Manish, Steve and Leroy on a Saturday evening.
"England women set for record crowd at Wembley
England women's historic first match at Wembley against European champions Germany will be played in front of their largest ever crowd. More than 33,000 tickets have been sold for the friendly, which will be shown live on BBC Two, on Sunday 23 November. Their male counterparts attracted a crowd of 40,181 in a 1-0 friendly win against Norway - the lowest crowd for an international at the new Wembley."
It looks like the England men are better than women's football .. but only just.
