Solly picking out Igor and great glancing header.

But that Reading defence are due a right (can I say it?) royal bollocking when they report back to training.

Charlton only have 3 men in the box and 2 of them are unmarked.
    Proper Sunday morning park defending!

Solly's left foot as well, didn't even notice.

Great ball in considering it's his weaker foot.

Not to sure that was a glancing header imho, looks like he put a fair amount on that making it even more special. Great goal !

2 of the last 3 goals have come from full back crosses haven't they?

I didn't think Bob allowed his defenders to stray more than 5 foot from each other.
  • For me the cross was so much better than the goal... Solly did the hard work there

Rubbish, it was a good cross but Igor had a lot to do to glance it into the net.

As you say Igor had a lot to do to glance it into the net but with him in between two Defenders, Solly could easily have over-hit it to the player behind him or under-hit it to the one in front, instead he got that on a sixpence

i.e. How many times has the crosser been blamed for messing up a great chance for Charlton to score
  • 3 of them oggy are unmarked the defending of that cross is shocking,

Igor knows where the goal is been a long time since we had a proper striker at cafc

That cross is something else. Left footed from a right footed player? Incredible. Much love for Solly, pleased to see him at the top of his game again.

Defending aside, brilliant header. A sign of confidence in Igor that Solly picked him out when the player to the far side of goal looked to be in a better position. Not sure how Igor managed to finish that off so effortlessly.

What I like about that cross is that three of the Reading defenders think they can get their head on it, but it deceives all three which means they all went after the ball and were effectively taken out of the move.
    Lovely.
    Terrific header too.

Shock horror. Professional footballer uses standing leg to kick football!

Not sure if anyone else has made the comparison, but very similar to the Obika winner against Leeds a couple of years ago.

    - Full back cuts inside and crosses with wrong foot
    - striker positioned between defenders, flicks his header into the corner

If someone other than Sols whipped that cross in would there be such uproar?
    Doubt it...

However great ball, great header, and there was a lot of red shirts in and around the reading area which is promising to see.

I like the 'Peachy' logo behind the net.
It was indeed sweet as a peach.
Well done to CS IV and BP
