Whenever anyone mentioned him, in my head I pictured @Goonerhater‌ - I'm sure he's older than 67 too...

  • Born on the day that we won the FA Cup.

    RIP Warren.
  • Rest in peace Bob, the landlord in ID

He was hopeless at sniffing out old bill though
  • Used to love Daziel and Pascoe growing up.

    Proper character.

    RIP
  • Rest in peace Mr Chairman (The Manageress)
  • Very sad.

Appeared in a lot of good stuff over 40 plus years.

    RIP

  • Very sad news.

    One of my favourites.
  • "No more Bob"... Was great in ID. RIP
  • RIP. Dalziel was one of my favourite TV policemen, probably because he was completely non-PC.
  • A very talented and versatile actor, almost everything he was in was worth watching. RIP Mr Clarke.
  • Everywhere I look ATM is death

    RIP
  • That is a shock, far too young. Sad news.

    R.I.P. Warren Clarke
  • He was in an episode of the sweeney "Contact Breaker" (Series 1,episode 12) as a villan serving time.
  • RIP, always enjoyed watching him, terrific in ID as others have said
  • Appeared in single/a few episodes of so many big TV series over the years, as well as his own "star" shows like Dalziel & Pascoe. Was never a huge fan of Dalziel when it first ran, but then really got into it over the years and the repeats. He'd just started a remake of Poldark as well.

A really great actor, very funny too and such a shame to go at a young age. Rest in Peace.

    Filmed in Thamesmead I believe.

Filmed in Thamesmead because of it's "futuristic" appearance.
My Dad happened upon that scene being filmed while he was out on his bike.
We'd moved into Stage 1 of Thamesmead in August 1970 - nothing else had been built at that point.
