Unless it's televised this is bad news, can't get back to London via train, and too late to go straight out after to anywhere decent.

    Manchester?
Get out the ground at say 9:45ish if you're lucky, 2 mile walk to the station, trains to Manchester 45 mins or so?? Be out by midnight.
That's the time we normally go out, man up.

I believe you need to man up if you're not out until that time.
  • This is great news.
Some decent boozers in Wigan, VERY cheap as well.
Fleetwood v Notts County the following day...................nice.
  • Not for me now I'm afraid.

Wigan is one of the scariest places I have been to and it was lunch time.

reminds me of a few lines from an old Radio 4 comedy show of which I forget the name .... 'soon I will be off to one of the most dangerous places on the planet' ... second speaker: 'the African or Amazonian jungle?' .. 'no, an English market town during happy hour'
