The average Charlton fan...

This is brilliant from YouGov. Search any company or brand and see what sort of people are interested in it.

Turns out the average addick is 60+, politically left of centre, shops at sainsbury and drives a mini.

Oh, and Millwall are fascists that work in law (though I suspect that means they're doing time.)

What I found interesting is that we are down on fans between the ages of 25 and 39, while all other categories are above mean. That seems to coincide with the wilderness years.

Suet pudding as favourite dish is great and it looks like they've been reading the dogs thread on here too!
  • Apparently our favourite foods are Suet Pudding and Asparagus Soup. Where did they get this sample from?!

    Aldi?

Interested to see that our two favourite celebrities are David Myers from the Hairy Bikers and Tony Hart! No mention at all of Rachel Riley though, there's something wrong here!

Absolutely not, we don't shop at Aldi. Try Sainsbury's.

Well they got 1 out of 4 for me but that may change if an Aldi gets built nearby...

Gok Wan is on Millwall's list of favourite celebs, which is somewhat surprising as most of them look like they've never had a bath, let alone learned how to look good naked.

Was this survey produced by Cadbury's ? It seems like a load of old toffee to me.

This is hilarious - top of Millwall fans favourite Hobbies & Activities is.........................................Dancing! Maybe that's what they were doing at Wembley when we all thought they were having a punch up.
  • How the heck do i manage to watch 50 hours of tele a week?

To be fair I don't think they were claiming to describe every single Charlton fan, although claiming to describe the average seems a bit ridiculous in the first place.

quite possibly the biggest joke crock of shite i have ever read and cannot believe an organisation like YouGov would actually put this out there as as a way of driving hits / interests to its profiles app.

i'm not sure what is the funniest 'reading', the fact that
    - on average we like musical instruments more than our own family, or using the internet
    - we like cricket more than double we like football
    - or the two websites we are most likely to visit are Kent County Council, and 'rapgenius' ????
  • No. There are Eco's, i20's etc....

Not trying to spruce it up like an Audi at all!!! :)

    And 'collecting fings'

They also describe themselves as 'motherly' and 'nerdy'. And their favourite facebook group is Farmville.

    you gotta laugh...
