Sentence given the lad who managed to get his road car onto the track at Brands Hatch.
Stupid and reckless? Absolutely. But an eight month custodial sentence does sound excessive.

It does when a man can fiddle with kids and walk away with a suspended sentance

I raced from the age of 8 in Karts up to Formula 3.
Stupid chav could have killed someone and jeopardised the safety of the marshals and spectators as well as the other drivers.
Completely agree that you see other crimes under punished. But the question was does he deserve to be locked up for 8 months?
Yes - give him some time to think and grow up a bit.

Not at all, motorsport is dangerous enough.
Did he have to injure someone before putting him away?

The sentence for him is justified, the lenient sentences of others is the issue
