Been a big story the past week or so but now North Korea are denying they're behind the hack of Sony. So who is responsible?

I still can't believe Sony backed down, Obama is rightly pissed and the decision by paramount regarding team american was an utter joke!
With any luck someone will post the movie online soon.0 -

Massive publicity stunt. How many were gonna go see it before? I imagine not an extraordinary number. Now how many people will go watch it when it gets released (and it will)? Absolute blinder by Sony, you literally couldn't buy this kind of publicity.4

I'm not sure N Korea would have the tech skills for such a cyber attack - after all, they are pretty much isolated from the rest of the world, whereas my (very limited) understanding of cyber crime, hacking etc would suggest it relies on international collaboraiton among the hackers, learning from each other, and then trying to go one better.
Sony is a Japanese corporation, and apparently their own top bods had qualms about what they were getting up to in Hollywood...0 -

Didn't it get announced that American sources have discovered that it is North Korea behind the attack0

Seriously considering whether this was a huge publicity stunt now. Have to say it worked though and I want to watch it...0
