Immense player, the whole big headed beyond belief thing is just funny.

I remember him breaking through at Ajax, he was quality even then and has gone up so many levels each season.

Bjorg isn't my time, i've grown up with Zlatan's career, for me he tops it.

Richard wouldn't be having any of that on Pointless... :-)

Untill 3 years ago, could never live up to his own hype.
Borg always let his grand slams do his talking.

would like to see him play alongside Igor.
you known he would get some stick from CAFC folk who think he's lazy ! (would he take 12k a week)

I think his stats and honours throughout his career contradict your claim that he could never live up to his own hype.
In his own head, he thinks he's as good as Ronaldo or Messi.

Having watched him play since he was a teenager it's only in the last 3 years he's had more good games than bad.
As for honours Gary Lineker was England best striker in the last 40 years (world cups) but can't remember him
    winning much.

Plus Zlatan is arrogant and ugly, which is a terrible combo.

Delusional. The bloke averaged 2 goals every 3 games at Inter Milan, where he won the league title (three years in a row) - and he left there in 2009. Averaged more than one in two for a pony footballing country like Sweden too - ironically a much superior strikerate to the players you mentioned - Messi and Ronaldo. These are facts, by the way. And no, I'm not say Ibrahimovic is better than them.

Strange that you'd say Ibrahimovic sees himself as in the same bracket as Ronaldo and Messi too. Even though he has openly blamed Messi and Guardiola for being forced out of Barcelona, he has frequently said that Messi is the best player in the world. Even as recently as a couple of weeks ago.

A lot of the stuff he says is to be funny, which, when taken with a pinch of salt, can be.

For someone who is solely a legend in his own mind, he hasn't half won a lot:

Not sure they'd accept a vote for Gabriel Batistuta as greatest Swedish sportsman anyway !

Stefan Edberg is another Swedish sporting great second only to Borg .. to me, players in solo sports always have the edge when it comes to 'who is the greatest' assessments ,, no assists and no-one to blame for defeats and no plaudits to share on success .. Ingmar Johansson the heavyweight boxer is another super Swede .. Ib ra wotsit ? .. good but he's not absolute top drawer, he's not quite 'carling'

Mats Wilander is another one. Won 7 grand slams but not Wimbledon.

Nothing against Zlatan but Borg by a mile for me. My all time favourite tennis player.

Hmmmmm......... A lot of real inconsequential stuff in here! At the end of the day he is/was not real top drawer. It's an embarrassment to the fella that he can attempt to counter Borg's achievements. Borg was an individual, all on his own, all alone. Ibramovich was lucky enough to be carried in top class 'teams' supported by others who, in the main, were better than him and were not as deludedly arrogant as he is/was. A bit of a damp squib frankly.
