Thought he looked awesome in the first half, reminded me of Viera. Was very clear there was no way Henry was going to go past him whenever they were near.

Anyone know the extent of the injury ? We really need him fit.

Couldn't agree more - thought he was magnificent.

In fact thought everyone played there part.

Groin strain...did it quite early in the game apparently. Should be ok for the Fulham game i'm told...

To be fair i thought Faye played very very well in defence.

Just been made a scapegoat for a truly awful season in the Prem in my opinion.

He did well until Newcastle away - playing there brought back all the bad stuff and he was kak after that. The problem's inside his head.

As me, Ledge and MCS are widely known as the three most knowledgeable football observers on here, this really does highlight just how badly Faye faded for us, as he clearly had something to start with.

I heard he was a massive confidence player. It appears now that it has been shot to pieces.

That's why I searched out these threads, to show that he is a talented player but one who is unreliable because he needs to have his head straight.

For the sake of his career, he probably needs to move to somewhere without the weight of too much expectation, where he can perhaps become a hero eg. Burnley or Barnsley. Which isn't going to happen because of his wages.
