19 players have moved between Standard & St Truiden, I find that astonishing
Although not in one season. That graphic covers the total history and the Standard - STVV history is longer than the rest of the network which is one year old.
How long has there been a link between STTV and Standard ?
It will be from the point he bought Standard, as he bought STVV first. So 2.5 to three years, I think.

Fair enough, 19 players transferring between two clubs in three years still seems pretty extreme although we must be reaching that average between Charlton and Standard now.

I guess that Standard - STVV is where it all started in his mind...economies of scale, shared services. Then he ran up against what he probably regarded as pesky bureaucratic ownership rules of the Belgian FA, and thought "I'll show them", and went on a buying spree across Europe. Thanks to Ujpest Lad, though, we have learnt that his purchase of Ujpest was pretty much an accident, not part of a master plan. And when you look at Jena, and think WTF, increasingly you have to ask whether there ever was a master plan.
first st truiden was from RD when that team playing in first class RD wan't more doing in the JPL but everybody was laughing at him - than he bought standard because that was a top team and with standard he put he's anwser and questions into the jpl. with standard he now had a status and now they would listen to him. that was his intention with standard. so he would also sit on the board with the top 6 clubs, and that he could not with STVV. So, my opinion, he was so eager to have his say and that the other one's saw him as an important person
btw RD was president in stvv from 2004 til 2011 the stadion and everything around is from Rd - sttv rents the stadium Marieke Höfte managed everything there
Eight points, Sint-Truiden required in principle to be sure of promotion. In ten years, and the passage of Roland Duchâtelet much has changed at the Jersey inhabitants. Duchātelet the club has been saved from destruction.
Duchâtelet took Sint-Truiden in 2004 and that meant storytelling, quiet salvation. "At that time he made an offer that no one could deny. There was no more money. Without him, we were now in third or worse," says current chairman Bart Lammens our editors.
I now take the decisions
"But now the data is completely different," he continues. Duchâtelet has no power at Stayen ensures Lammens. "When he bought Standard STVV he sold it to me. I am the chairman and I make the decisions," he says firmly.
This summer so there should not be considered a mass arrival of Standard players? "It is possible that there will be players Rouches but Anderlecht or other clubs. It's Yannick Ferrera who chooses his players," he concludes.
