Soon to be back down to 9. Sutton beat Wigan in the EFL Trophy and set up their visit to the “new” Wembley stadium for the first time. It could be an EFL Trophy double if Hartlepool beat Rotherham tomorrow night.
On top of that - Blackburn, Ipswich, Nottingham Forest and Port Vale are all sitting in or around the play off places at the minute.
Oldham have been relegated so they are off the list as they’re no longer one of “the 92”
Nottingham Forest and Port Vale are both in the playoffs so they could be off to Wembley shortly.
The list may see some additions following the completion of the National League season, especially as the play off final is at the London Stadium rather than Wembley this year.

Stockport (currently top of the National League by 3 points + a game in hand) have played at Wembley before (2008 playoffs) so they wouldn’t increase the number.
Usually the National League playoff winner wouldn’t add to the list either by virtue of coming up from the playoffs and therefore playing at Wembley on route to League Two. Not the case this season as the final will be played at West Ham.
Though seeing as all 6 teams in the playoff picture are north of the midlands maybe a northern stadium would have been better.
edit: from a quick glance it’s only Solihull Moors in the playoff picture that haven’t played at Wembley. So unless they get promoted the list won’t be increasing.

Hartlepool relegated so they come off the list. Down to 5….for now.
We’re all praying Blackburn make the playoffs at the expense of Millwall.
Up from the National League, Wrexham have already been to Wembley as recently as last year. The playoffs could add a team to the list.
Such an idiot. Of course the play offs can’t add a team to the list. Any playoff winner would have played at Wembley in said play offs. Remembering last years final being held at London Stadium threw me off.
So unless Blackburn surprise us all, the list is just those 5.
Crawley via the playoffs are the only hope of reducing the list this season.
There was a moment a few weeks ago where I thought we could be losing a couple more. However, Colchester survived relegation from the football league and Ipswich got 2nd and avoided needing the playoffs for promotion.
Chesterfield are coming up but they’ve already played at the national stadium, so the season will end with either 4 or 5 still on the list.

Hartlepool are a handful of penalties away from a first trip...

can Port Vale make it 6? They’ll need to make up a 2-1 deficit at home to Swindon tomorrow.

We are down to just 6 teams in the top 4 divisions that have never played at the “new” Wembley Stadium.
They’re now just 1 game away from a first trip to Wembley and bringing the list down to 5.
Blackburn and Ipswich could still make a trip to Wembley in May via the playoffs.
