Just turned mine on and all I'm getting is the chrome circle thingy. Suggestions? Thank you

    Shouldn't be happening if it's anywhere near new - if u have anti virus software shouldn't be a virus as it's hard for MacBooks to get viruses even without the protection I have been told by tech geeks

    Hold down cmd + R on boot, select disk utility, highlight "Macintosh HD",
    click repair disk.

    Hopefully that passes, if it fails, may need to reinstall OS or could be disk failure. If so, trip to Apple.
