Was there a good 1974 album?

... that I should invest some time in listening to?

It is the most recent year for which I don't have an album in my collection - and I don't think I fancy Autobahn.
NME's album of the year was Pretzel Logic by Steely Dan ... Heart of Saturday Night by Tom Waits might be another contender.

    Well, reading some of the answers here, I'd say there were several good 1974 albums.
