Had become a friend in the last few years, a nice guy with so many funny stories, discovered when recording an interview with him at the Valley that he was good mates with Scott Minto and had been to a few games, will be missed.
Very odd location for one's last breath, and yes, young...but what a line-up of post-punk talent in Visage - The seminal guitarist of those years, John McGeoch, plus Billy Currie & Dave Formula on keyboards, Barry Adamson, and of course the ubiquitous Martin Rushent at the controls. Was saddened to see this headline; not a massive Visage fan, had a couple of singles, but he was an icon from the time I actually cared about pop music, as well as having his own style. RIP.
