Anyone know how serious Gudmunnson and Watt injuries are ??

    who said injuries or have I missed something, neither hobbled off the pitch
    I think both went off to be rested for Tuesday

    Were they injured? Gudmundson didn't seem to be hobbling and went and sat down in the dugout rather than heading for the dressing room. Watt had a slight strain earlier in the match, I assume he was being rested for Tuesday

    JBG said something in his interview with Terry about resting, because of tight muscles or something. Should be OK for Tuesday as i understood it. Nobody mentioned an injury to TW.

    Being subbed off early doesn't automatically mean the player is injured. Gudmundsson taken off for precaution presumably

    Watt had an Ice pack on his ankle when he walked on the pitch at full time.

    Watt turned his ankle about 10mins before he went off. He had a large ice-pack on it at the end and didn't leap out for the tunnel jump.

    Think watts was more of a precaution due to the injury he had in the first half

    Think Gidmundsson had a tight hamstring. When he went off Erol Umut was stretching his leg out. He jogged off so can't be too bad.

    Luzon said Gudmundsson's injury was a muscle problem and was taken off as a precaution. Ben Haim also has some kind of muscle problem, he didn't reveal when he could be back in action.

    Gudmundsson was definitely feeling his hamstring during the game. Watt was hobbling for a while but it didn't stop him scored his wonder goal second.

    I think this may answer the question in the thread about TBH,Gomez or Johnson. Gomez at RB the other two in the centre & Eagles for Guddy.
