    I watched this afternoon's pre match build up with Steve brown curbs and Scott minto.

    Brown adores Charlton. I like the way he talks.

    He is definitely coach material and I'm rather surprised he hasn't found a decent management job. I'd have him at Charlton working with youth players. 
    He has the Intel understanding and passion for the game.

    Brown sitting there with his old manager certainly retrieved his memories of playing for curbs.

    All players wanted to impress curbs and they wanted to play for him. They desperately wanted his respect and were hungry for it.

    The good old days

    Did you listen to the podcast episode he did with Benjy Nurick where he explained that he basically doesn’t want to be part of a coaching/management set up at a pro-club anymore? Had some bad experiences previously and doesn’t like the sucking up and networking required I think were the reasons he gave.

    I just love his contribution to my match day experience.
    Still can’t believe how lucky my Bruv is sat next to him week in week out 🙄😫🤣🤣🤣

    I preferred it this week, Brown in the studio with Shirtliff commentating. I know it will go back to the normal way but was a nice change.

    I could hardly hear Shirts yesterday.
    Were that sat in with the fans?

    The p.a. System was deafening on the coverage, which cafc supporters aren’t used to!

    You could see how much respect he has for Curbs when they were both sat together, no interjection, kept his explaining short and to the point.

    100% agree. 90 minutes of Greg Stubley was also a treat. We're lucky to have him and I think he's destined for great things.

    Rumour on another forum that he’s fallen out with TS after criticising the club and TS on the radio.

    Brown isn't an employee of the club anyway. It would be nonsense if a pundit on Charlton TV wasn't ever allowed to be critical of the club

    Should think Minto will be off soon too.
    Been popping up on the BBC quite a bit lately. I think he covered the FA cup final for the world service.

    Scott is such a polished presenter, to this day I find it astonishing that Sky binned him off especially when you see some of their current line up.

    Equally astonishing how he wasn't picked up by the likes of BBC, Amazon, BT etc.
