The man who posted himself to Australia

This is a great story - the footnotes on what happenend next are excellent.

    Why didn't he just get himself into either our cricket or rugby team and wait for the next tour? They have no problems with fielding people from the colonies.

    read this last night - seemed a nice guy, Pity he was then sentenced to death in Sri Lanka for drug smuggling.

    Sounds like he only ended up spending 5 years in jail in Australia, so didn't end that badly.
