Been really impressed with what I have seen of him on the pitch so far and comes across really well in that piece. Hungry & determined and if a deal is already progressing to keep him beyond this season, I think we'll have a steal on our hands.

Did you take this with your new iphone mate?

If so then I'll put you onto a decent app called camscanner . Lets you take a photo and it levels it out so it's like a scan .

It seems an extension is already on the cards, which sounds promising. We are 99% certain to be in the same division next season, so can start planning now

I want to read it but I have to admit I find it very difficult......

Reading isn't that hard Jessie. You just need to concentrate! (:

It's going to come down to money. Both sides want to play but if he wants prem wages and Roland wants to pay development squad wages, never the twain shall meet.

He'll be happy to be on lower wages now as it will put him in the shop window and get him fit

For @JessieAddick and others who can't read it, I've typed it out. Apologies for any mistakes, as I found some parts a bit too blurry........

Chris Eagles has revealed how his ex-man utd poker pals convinced him he could still be a king of clubs.

The winger was dealt a bad hand in the summer when he was forced on the football scrapheap for the first time in his career after leaving Bolton. But the likes of Darren Fletcher, John O'shea and Wes Brown- who regularly enjoy a game of cards with Eagles, rallied around their mate(?) to ensure
he didn't cash in his chip just yet. The advice worked wonders, with Eagles, 29, at Charlton via a short stay at Blackpool.
He said “I'm still close to Wes, John & Fletch. We've been playing poker for years. In football, people respect those with ability they said. “Just join a club & play, then it will come”.

It was difficult. I was training on my own every morning, doing all sort, pulling tyres, boxing, hill runs. I learned a lot and don't want to be in that position again. “This year has taught me a lot about how much I love football. Some people take it for granted, but you never should”.
“I won't stop until I get back to where I believe I belong. I want to get to the premier league and I'd love to do it with Charlton”.

“A lot of people slag off footballers, but I want to prove we're not all like that. It's not about money, it's about hunger & desire. Utd taught me that”. “If it wasn't for Utd, I don't think I'd have dealt with what happened in the summer. “They taught me mental strength and that nothing will beat you”.

Eagles Valley deal runs out at the end of the season but says an extension is already on the cards. That will suit the Hemel Hemstead born player now he has returned to the south after spending most of his career up north. It is not too often you will hear Charlton fans cheering “Eagles”.
But he said “My family on my mums side are Charlton fans and the mad thing is they go to the games anyway. Now there's another reason for them to go.”

The ex Burnley star would love to stay at the Valley for a long time and believes he can emulate ex-Utd team-mates Giggs & Beckham by playing into his late 30's.

It comes after an upsetting end to his time at Bolton. Eagles added “In January last year, I was told either agree something or you're out. I wasn't happy with the terms and that was it. I was training on my own every day. “It shows the cruel side of football. I had given everything to that club – I loved it there. We will visit Bolton later this season and it will be emotional”.

It then just goes on to talk about us playing Cardiff today and their problems.............
