    Nice to see a Manager come out with a proper comment about this... Usually you just get the manager following the same script by saying "but he needs a rest"

    He takes the same approach that most of PL managers take, which is to give players strategic rests to keep them fresh and fit for the season ahead, rather than resting them for a specific future game.
