Highlight of the day was being absolutely done for pace by Leaburn.

Didn't even consider doing this until 5pm yesterday afternoon but really glad I did. Definitely would've liked more than 3 to 4 hours sleep prior to doing it though!

The Upbeats - a great bunch of lads.

I started off by reading RedMidlands match thread but it just said - Afka. Going forward, going forward, going forward,...

    Well done walkers and sponsors.
  • Let's hope the lads can finish off the day with a 3 point reward for all those involved. Well done!

    Got your wish Bournemouth!

Was hoping to do more updates but was finding every time I did I ended up 100 yards behind the group. Had a great day though and I'll try and write more in the next few days

Lib was packed, couldn't get our usual table.

All this fund raising is ok but how dare these do Gooders interrupt fans drinking.

At least Katrien realised that the Lib was too classy after sticking her head in and went outside again.

Well this is Charlton. Someone has to moan. :-)

    Brilliant effort all round.

Thanks, TMA made me 30years older by donating £100
  • Good to meet you too Afka and other lifers. Dansk not sure if it was you I was chatting with walking down Avery Hill - if so, all those mutual acquaintences ... small world!
