    Are those at home?
    Yes

I'm slightly surprised that West Ham need to play many pre season friendlies seeing that their Europa League qualification starts several weeks earlier!

Pleased that we seem to have some decent opposition. But that Wet Spam game is scheduled for two days after their second qualifying match (assuming they get through the first one!) in the Europa Legaue. So I can't see us getting many of their first team squad at The Valley.

Bugger. Was hoping we might get a CAFC visit to Upton Park before they demolish the Boleyn Ground.

I'm more interested in the Chievo game TBH, a Serie A team will be something a big different

Just seen on twitter that BDL is letting the Bromley FC stadium announcer take over for these games haha

Young Matt Hall does the job down at Brom, he's really good and I'll be surprised if @BDL will be allowed to return after Matt does the job!
  • Flight booked from Bromma Stockholm. good old Brussels air going both games and a sack of beer tokens from last year !!

Chievo Verona seems like a strange one. Is RD making a bid for the club I wonder?

Do they have any other PS games in England that week?

    Good fixtures mind!

Arent Chievo the club who spent most of their history at 4th or 5th level of Italian football, only to have bunch of quick promotions to end up Serie A? I think they are now the senior team to their rivals Hellas Verona who were the established Seria A/B club until then.

Much stronger set of pre season fixtures than normal which is an excellent thing in my opinion, top flight oppo from England, Italy and Belgium...let's hope we've got a side to give them all a game

all we need now is a team to play them, very underwhelmed with few decent rumours so far

West Ham will want local games with little traveling at the weekends as their away trips will be midweek.

Looking forward to the Chievo game, shame it isn't Hellas - I read the excellent "a season with Verona book" (highly recommended summer reading) a couple of years ago.

Sounds like it'll be the West Ham reserve team.

Not excited about the WHU reserves friendly. Part of the deal that WHU negotiated to take Poyet ? (Alongside first call with players that is surplus to requirements) ?

The Chievo game should be good. Will be curious to see what kind of a team Charlton will have for these games.

Not sure how many first team players they'll have at the Europa League game! A bit of a poisoned chalice, isn't it?

Would like to have that problem though.

Maybe Poyet will finally get to play some football after his *cough* glamour move.
