Just loving the quote from Bobby Barnes, deputy chief executive of the Professional Footballers’ Association. Regarding Sterling's behaviour he said: “He’s made a mistake and people are human.”
walcott will end up same as michael owen, he'll retire around 30 when his hamstrings and knees are the same as a 50 year olds.
Obviously i hope sterling turns out to be class, for england's sake, but i fear he'll lose his head and end up being a good premier league winger like ashley young, aaron lennon and those other tricky wingers with pace that promised so much.
Sterling isn't a tricky winger though, he has been played all over the place upfront, number 10 because he has close control and technique all those other guys just don't have rather than just being able to take on a man like Aaron Lennon.
