Almost off topic, but this reminds me of a famous quote from Vitas Gerulaitis. After beating Jimmy Connors at the 1980 Masters and having lost their previous 16 matches against him:

"And let that be a lesson to you all. Nobody beats Vitas Gerulaitis 17 times in a row."
