Clément Lenglet , the young defender from AS Nancy Lorraine, also capable of occupying the right flank , not bad arouses envy. Reportedly, the Lorraine club has just received a concrete offer from Charlton, who now plays in the Championship ( English D2). Nothing filtered on the amount of the proposal. There are a few weeks, the Standard Liège had proposed around 3.5 million euros for the Lenglet - Lusamba -Walter trio , but this offer was rejected by ASNL . In France, ASSE has an eye on Lenglet , but has not moved concretely now. It must be said that check has occurred in central hinge in St0 -
I was told the 'big' signing was a centre back2

We were in League One and at risk of going bust, so it's hardly surprising. It's obviously true that the club is in a more secure position currently, but the bar is being set very low in these comparisons. We're better off than we were in 1973, too, but the question is whether the club is making the best use of resources that are available at any given point.daveydanger said:
I think every single player we signed that summer was free. May be an interesting consideration for the RD #haterzAirman Brown said:
That would be the summer of 2010, ahead of 2010/11, I think. When we also signed Johnnie Jackson (and Simon Francis, admittedly). Whatever happened to him?daveydanger said:Remember the 2009/2010 season when we signed Akpo Sodje, Alan McCormack and Gary Doherty in one bloody summer? Now that WAS exciting - what a time to be alive. Those players had the red of Charlton coursing through their veins. They were proper Charlton.

Seems to be a lot of search results that suggest a previous interest from Juventus

"Reports in France suggest Juventus have agreed a deal to sign Clement Lenglet from AS Nancy-Lorraine.
The 19-year-old centre-back has impressed for Les Chardons in his 19 appearances in Ligue 2 this season, and made his debut for the club in 2013.
French newspaper L'Est Republicain reports that Lenglet was at Juventus Stadium for the match against Empoli on Saturday, and will move at the end of the season, having reached a verbal agreement with the Turin giants.
The paper believes that the promising defender visited Vinovo with his father and agent, before meeting with the Bianconeri's leadership ahead of the Empoli game.
The deal will only formally be completed in the summer, as the youngster cannot move outside of a transfer window."0 -
I will be telling my pals we beat Juve to his signature anyway regardless of why it did not go through9

Fall for it every time. See 100+ new posts. Think that something must have happened. Usual tosh and insults about someone called Colin...6

These 2 are surely going to happen in the next 24 hours or so if they are going to happen at all.
The CB is the interesting one for me - and would surely have to be the 'big signing' people are talking about.0 -
