Adam Le Fondre is set to leave Cardiff City this week, manager Russell Slade has confirmed.
The former Reading striker spent the end of last season on loan at Bolton and both they and Sheffield Wednesday have been looking to sign Le Fondre on a permanent basis.
“There is likely to be movement next week and there is a chance it is a club up north showing strong interest,” Slade is quoted as saying by the Daily Mirror.
“From the player's point of view he is desperate to sign for the right club in the right geographical area.”
Heard a whisper that we're one of a few clubs interested in Will Buckley... Dunno whether this would mean we've dropped our interest in Henry, or are trying to get Wolves to push the transfer along?

Not in Sunderland's squad for the friendly today. They're definitely looking to offload.

Don't rate him. Have a lot of Brighton supporting friends and have seen him play a lot myself. On his day he's unplayable, but his day doesn't come along often enough.

Isn't that what wingers do apart from Robbo, Johann or Robert Lee of course lol

Yes, absolutely. But some more so than others imo. I think we can do better.
@FrenchFtWeekly: Per L'Equipe, Saint-Etienne's €1.5m bid for Nancy's Clement Lenglet was refused. ASNL want at least €2m & hope to keep player on loan.
@FrenchFtWeekly: @FrenchFtWeekly Sevilla had bid for Lenglet rejected earlier this summer & the player recently turned down a move to Charlton Athletic.
Don't bank on a French player having his heart set on joining an English 2nd tier side. If top flight French teams and Sevilla / Juve have shown an interest he can be forgiven for not falling in love with SE7 as soon as he turns into Floyd Road.
6 days from the start of the season and we have 1 Right back who has dodgy knees. Don't want Cousins or Charlie Cook or any one else playing there who is not a bona fide right back. The problems we had at Left back until fox stepped up when Rhoys was out of the team by playing right footed players there over 2 seasons. Gomez had his worst ever game for CAFC at LB. So keep the rumours coming for the RB, if not why not ?

I may have just made that up.
This deal must be dead.
