Advice on where to meet and collect at Wembley

I need to collect someone from Wembley Stadium on Saturday evening after the Capital Radio Summertime Ball and then travel back with them by train.
I intend to use Wembley Park tube to get back. Conscious of the huge crowd that will pour out of the stadium, can anyone advise of a good meeting place..... Wembley Park tube station entrance? Bobby Moore statue?

Ages since I was at Wembley and don't know of any good places I can arrange to meet them at. Any advice/ideas?

There are a few hotels between Wembley park and the station now. So you could settle into the bar of one of those, meet, then wait for the crowds to move on.

Plenty of bars and restaurants in the shopping centre between the ground and Wembley Park. Hole up there, bite to eat, beer or two, let the crowds disperse, because it's no fun queuing for the tube on Wembley Way after a game/gig.

Forget Wembley Park - Wembley Stadium mainline is closer, and if the person you are meeting has the sense to get a bung on, you will be in Paddington within 15 minutes. It is just around the back of the stadium, to the right as you look up Wembley Way. We used it for all the games at Euro 96 and the PO final in 98. After the Sunderland game we were back in Penge as our mates who went to Wembley Park were just getting on the tube...

Agree with Algarve.
Went to the boxing at Wembley Arena a couple of weeks back and although much smaller crowds in comparison to football/concert, Wembley Stadium mainline was a ghost town, and was back in London within 15 minutes. Other people from work took the Wembley Park option and had to wait for a while.

Not that I'm a trainspotter but I'm sure Wembley Park goes in to Marylebone.

Wembley Stadium is an overground from Marylebone on the Chiltern line I think.

Definitely the way to go if Wembley Stadium station is open on the day of your event (it's not always).

On event days Wembley Stadium station can get pretty busy too

There's a big shopping centre between the Stadium and Arena now, no decent pubs in the area though

Thanks everyone. I've decided to meet at a hotel near to Wembley Stadium station. Then train into Marylebone... Tube to Charing Cross then train home. Wembley Park can be a nightmare so I'm told so will take the advice here. Cheers all.

Walk to Wembley Central then Bakerloo Line will take you straight to Charing X
