RIP James Last

The king of "happy music" has died aged 86, did anyone's gran and granddad, or mum and dad not have one of his albums in the 60s and 70s?

I remember half my grandads LPs were James Last. Horrendous elevator music.

I have a couple of his albums including the classic Make the Party Last. Had many excellent parties at home with his music. Saw him at the Albert Hall about five years ago.
