Johnie Jackson comments on the forth coming season
Johnie told him that he expects to play regular football in a holding midfield role. Sadly from my point of view he says the owner is looking to servive in this league next season.

Cannot believe Johnny would say that even if true7
-
Of course he would say that and rightly so. He's a pro, our skipper and backing himself to play, wouldn't you be? Dont write him off just yet1
-
I can't believe that there would be ANY course that would suit both JJ and Spongefoot...............therefore a made up story.3

Is this Johnie Simon Church a new signing1
-
Church was on the bench for Wales last night, so I can't imagine he'll have had time to go on many courses. He could be at the Euros next summer!0
-
They were at the UEFA coaching course together with Wilson and wiggins couple weeks back0
-
I think holding mid is a natural progression for JJ and I think it could work.. I think with Luzon he will be rotated with others and not necessarily a starter or first choice all the time! So over the course of the season he will get a lot of games and appearances off the bench but not be first choice.. as for the owners ambition I doubt hed come out and say that...1

Mocking somebody shouldn't really be done when a large proportion of your posts are barely coherent.paulie8290 said:Is this Johnie Simon Church a new signing

Since JJ can tackle, has never had great pace but has played as a full back seems a logical move.
Plenty of other midfielders have done similar.
Don't doubt JJ said it but doubt he'll be pleased to see it repeated here.4 -
The comments not encouraging for me to get out and sort out season ticket. So 4th from bottom is ok for Roland then ?0

Is this not exactly the same message that Peeters put forward last summer?1

The panic pot is coming to the boil quite nicely now.3

It was unnecessary as you knew exactly what he meant, it wasn't funny and the only reason people give you stick is due to your pathetic reactions to said stick.paulie8290 said:

Why would the owner say to any player he was just looking to survive ? Hardly a morale boosting statement and it's unlikely to help in keeping the like of JGB.
It sounds like a load of old rubbish.2 -

You so disrespect but why.
My friend was taking a coaching badge with JJ, his team have just been promoted to the championship. He like a lot of pro footballers from the lower leagues knows and respects JJ they were sharing their owners views on both clubs and both clubs ambitions is to stay in the championship. Whether JJ has been told this by RD or KM or even GL this was what he said1 -
Won't any club in any league be looking to avoid relegation first and foremost???BPhasnohair said:He like a lot of pro footballers from the lower leagues knows and respects JJ they were sharing their owners views on both clubs and both clubs ambitions is to stay in the championship. Sounds like a game of Chinese whispers with a message that's been blown out of proportion.3 -
I'm not being disrespectful , i'm giving my opinion . Perhaps your "friend" misheard or is not telling the truth and even if he is , maybe he didn't expect you to blab it on a forum - That's disrespectful.BPhasnohair said:

Thank you for sharing that information. We can only hope M.Roly wants more than just survival, otherwise what is in it for?BPhasnohair said:A friend of mine was on the same training course as Johnie Simon Church and Lawrie Wilson

Only in Colin's mind. All the official statements, i.e. from KM, have indicated we will aim to be stable in tne Championship and then if for some reason we find ourselves in a better than expected position we might try and push to take advantage of that and get promoted. I'm sure everyone would love to be milking the premiership cash cow but the indications are any plan to get there will be ad hoc and opportunistic rather than a spell of concerted investment like Leicester and Cardiff have done in recent years.JohnnyH2 said:

If you aim for survival only the chances of achieving it are pretty slim. Would take a really crazy person to think otherwise. Consolidation would be more realistic if a little disappointing. Breaking even is the target so we're told. You can't achieve that in league one with crowds of 8-10 thousand.
Personally I have no idea what to think any more about where CAFC is heading. So many positives through RD what with the academy, pitch, seating, screen yet we seem to lack a clear plan on the pitch. I suspect it's going to be two steps forward with one back and sometimes the other way around. I suppose that's still progress. We are an impatient bunch us football fans.5 -
Assumed that you were about that age anyway given your log in name?Greenie Junior said:
