    Reminds me of a story when the co op in Charlton village got robbed.
    my uncle knew the culprit and he got caught coz his mum who worked there recognised him! Late 70s/early 80s?

    They probably just wanted to get in there early so they didn't trip over all the stock on the floor whilst making their getaway.

    Apparently the average takings from a bank raid are just £12k, so it's not really the one job and a life luxury that I'd imagine some would be robbers might think. That said, Primark?!?!?!
