Has anyone been to the beach at the QE Olumpic park yet ?

Any good?

Ok for a 2 and 4 year old ?

Busy ?

    We went on Saturday after the athletics. Considering there was a sold out event going on and the weather was good, it wasn't too crowded. Decent size sandy area and large paddling pool. Didn't try the food or drink (there is a pub) but it looked ok. Quite a few rides but not that cheap. I would also reccomend trying to book a swimming session in the aquatic centre. 2 largish pools, one for lane swimming, one for kids with plenty of toys.

    Come on Dave that is not even trying.

    Expected at least a comment about getting a few lengths in.

    ( cheers though, might have a look weekend after this if weather ok)
