Pope - 7.5 - Did not have loads to do but did what he did have to do well especially catching a few balls that looked dangerous into the book second half.
Solly - 6.5 - A bit below par for his standards, think he looked a bit tired at the end.
Fox - 8 - His best game for us and is really growing, gave a couple of balls away though still .
Bauer - 8.5 - Absolute rock at the back and seems to win everything in the air or on the floor. Unlucky not to score.
Diarra - 7.5 Solid enough but dived in when did not need to get a booking.
Gudmundsson - 7 - Looks our best creative player still but still a lot more to come from him which bodes well.
Cousins - 7 - Typical cousins keeping things tricking over.

People need to look at Makienok as a hold up player, winning headers and making life difficult for defenders to enable us to bring our boys into the game. People will be too quick to judge him on goals. He did a lot of hard work tonight and when he settled into the game won a lot. For me 7 not as good as Bauer/fox but put a shift in.
Definitely, and if his header had gone in everyone would be saying what a great player he is. Everyone's views different but for me the fella worked his socks off. And again was all over the pitch. There players would definitely not like playing against him.
Wasn't there tonight but a Brøndby supporting friend of mine describes Simon Makienok as a fantastic hold up player and great in the air; a player who really unsettles defences and is capable of playing other players in. GL knows this, I think.
