New series of Blackadder

What do you think? Too late or worth a try? I don't know what time period they would do - 1066 could be good. As for Hugh Laurie, he wasn't in the first 2 series as far as I
can remember - I'd rather have Percy back anyway.

  • Bring it on
  • How about Blackadder in the future? .

I think it's a great idea to bring it back.
  • What era would it be?

Dangerous game as Blackadder Goes Forth ended so beautifully I'd hate for them to ruin it.
  • No Rik Mayall so no flasheart... big miss!

  • I saw a documentary where Tony Robinson said there was a thought that perhaps they could all be members of a band in the 60s. Depending on who writes it, it could be funny. The one offs are normally good

Hugh Laurie appeared in the final episode of the second series before becoming a regular in the third and fourth series.

The ending of Blackadder Goes Forth is often seen as particularly poignant but killing off the charadters in the final episode happened in the other series of Blackadder as well.
  • Looking forward to this....
  • Think the writers said they wanted to do Blackadder with him a tory MP but Rick Mayall had already done Alan B'stard.
  • They should set it in the city in ~2008. I think Blackadder and Baldrick would make excellent bankers.

  • They should do Black Dwarf

A fusion of Black Adder and Red Dwarf set in the future

He would have been a great "Boris" character, screaming "piffle" and waving his (cycle) helmet around, but how would you split the rest of the cast into Sullivan, Gold & Brady???
