    Pope 7
    Charles-Cook 7
    Lennon 7
    Sarr 7.5
    Bauer 8 rock
Harriott 6 - trying too hard to score a goal
Cousins 6.5 final ball always under hit
    Ba 7.5 very good
    Bergdich 7
    Ahearne-Grant 7
    Kennedy 7

    Vetokele 7
  • Pope 7.0 - Commanding in the area and made a good one-on-one stop near the end. Didn't seem at fault for their goal, but was quite far away from our end.
Charles-Cook - 6.5 - under pressure in first half. Improved in second. Didn't get much protection from either Bergdich or Harriott.
Lennon - 7.0 - Big unit who gets stuck in on tackles. More successful in preventing attacks than Charles Cook. Made some good blocks.
Sarr - 7.5 - skillful with the ball at his feet. Shame for him that Diarra is playing so well. More than capable back up. Also made some decent interceptions when balls was fizzed across.
Bauer - 8.0 - very solid. Nice to see he was given the captain's armband when Cousins went off. Human wall.
Harriott - 6.0 - getting stick from our fans for most of the game. Poor decision making and a liability in defence. Made a couple of good crosses into the box when cutting back on his left foot.
Cousins - 7.0 - drove the team forward, but final pass was often missing.
Ba - 7.5 - very impressive going forward and coming back. Classy, skillful player.
Bergdich - 6.0 - skilful player but didn't win a single tackle all night. Better version of Harriott, but too lightweight. Did do a great cross field ball to set up Igor, though
Ahearne-Grant - 7.0 - kept his nerve for the penalty. Nice to see the Jacko style knee slide celebration. Still too lightweight. Him and Kennedy had no chance with our long balls in the first half.
Kennedy - 7.0 - scored and won the penalty. Much better than against Welling, where I thought he was pretty poor. Some nice touches, but needs to bulk up.

Vetokele - 7.0 - well taken goal. Should have done better after Bergdich cross. Worried their defence more than KAG or Kennedy and won 3-4 free kicks.
Kashi n/a - Wonder goal and hit the post with another long ranger. Going to be between him and Bauer for POTY. Fast becoming a Charlton legend. "Garry from the half way line...."
Muldoon n/a - nice cameo and great cross for Igor's goal.

Overall, first half we were lucky to go in ahead. Second half, we showed our class. Good to see the winning mentalty being passed on to the youngsters. Twitter said starting eleven had an average age of 21. Impressive

for those of you who watched the match your marks please:

Pope - 7 - couple of dodgy fumbles from crosses but did well and a really good 1 on 1 save
Charles-Cook - 7 - very decent player, caught out of position but not an out and out full-back and thought he was reasonably assured
    Lennon - 7 - as above
Sarr - 7 - good in the air and comfortable with ball at feet, needs to raise awareness but decent enough CB
Bauer - 8 - great player we have there
Harriott - 6 - tried hard but awful end product
Cousins - 6 - poor game, worked hard as usual but passing often let him down
Ba - 8 -MOM - edges Bauer, everything went through him and he looked calm and composed, class apart
Bergdich - 6.5 - got better as game went on, average and not a solution to LM problem on this performance
Ahearne-Grant - 7 - worked hard and some decent movement
Kennedy - 7 - found him quiet apart from on a couple of occasions but those occasions were important as he scored and won pen

Vetokele - 7 - nice finish, worked reasonably hard, good to have him back
    Kashi n/a - what a goal
    Muldoon n/a

Pope 7 no chance with the goal really. Solid everywhere else.
Charles-Cook 6 he needs to bulk up a fair bit. He's positionally not that great but that will come with experience. Definitely one for the future.
Lennon 7 solid at left back
    Sarr 7 solid
    Bauer 7.5 solid and composed
Harriott 6 he wasn't bad. But he has absolutely no confidence whatsoever. The fans don't help as they're always on his back.
Cousins 7 great to see him as captain tonight. Tackled well and got forward well.
Ba 7 I would've personally brought him off as his legs seemed to give way a few times. Good though
Bergdich 7. Minus .5 for sulking when cousins played a ball too short. He just completely stopped what e was doing when he could've won it back. Some good runs forward and some good balls into the box.
Ahearne-Grant 7.5 worked hard all game and deserved a goal. Could've perhaps got more
Kennedy 8.5 scored tonight and won the penalty. Caused them problems and never gave up. Good debut and an exciting player.

Vetokele 7.5 great to see him back and great to see him back with a goal
    Kashi n/a lovely goal!
Muldoon n/a great cross for Igor.

Pope 7 Sound. Couple of fairly regulation stops, good kicking, no chance with the goal.
Charles-Cook 6.5 He is small and was targeted but we need to remember he is very young and is a midfielder not a full back. Grew into the game
Lennon 7 Big lad, surprisingly quick too. Couple of very heavy touches but got stuck in
Sarr 7 Big lad. Composed and dominant. Looks a little bit rusty but decent competitive debut
Bauer 7.5 Couple of half hearted headers but, aside from that, dominant.
Harriott 6 Apalling decision making once again. He's a trier but I really think he needs to reignite his career. He isn't getting any smarter
Cousins 6.5 Passing wasn't great and that's the only thing that goes against him I'd say.
Ba 7.5 Love this guy. Went past a couple of players last night like they weren't even there. Good engine and range of passing and tackling. Think he is going to be a great player for us
Bergdich 7 Always available but still looks rusty. Pace to burn. Think he'll be ok in the longer term but nothing spectacular at present.
Ahearne-Grant 7.5 Improving with every game. More of a nuisance than he used to be and took his penalty well. Could have had more on a different evening
Kennedy 7 Goal and an assist. Waspish little bugger - reminded me of Paul Dickov just less of a cock.

Vetokele 7 Shocking control but to be expected. Took his goal well.
    Kashi n/a Beautiful goal
Muldoon n/a Nice assist. Confident too

Nice to get the win but I thought we could have been more professional. We would have conceded more had their strikers not had a stinker. The warm-up looked a bit lazy and aside from the first goal we were'nt great in the first half.
Seems strange to criticise but I think 1-4 flattered a bit - that said my father got 70/1 for it so he's suitably chuffed this morning

    Pope 7 easyish night
    Charles-Cook 7 pretty comfortable
Lennon 6.5 was a big fan but looked a bit donkeyish at times
Sarr 6.5 not sure how this chap will fair in the championship
    Bauer 7 easy night
    Harriott 6 pretty anonymous
Cousins 7 energetic, broke up play well
Ba 7.5 looks a real steal
    Bergdich 7 always a threat
Ahearne-Grant 8 our mom for me, gets better with every minute
Kennedy 7 fairly lively and energetic

    Vetokele 6 same as Harriott
