The experts say (and I believe them) how hard it is for foreign footballers to arrive in a new country and settle down, find schools, get the family settled, etc, so it seems bizarre how a player can juggle clubs in England and Greece. I can't believe Panthessalonikios, with the state of the Greek economy, can offer anywhere near the wages he would have wanted from Villa, though on the bright side nobody pays taxes in Greece
He's already got more money than he can ever spend, so I don't think it's that Siv. I think MrLargo is nearer the mark, a quick look at the atlas shows the town of his birth isn't that far away from Thessaloniki, home of PAOK.
I could definitely do it. If I was a professional footballer I'd definitely be taking a contract in as many countries as possible. Sounds like a major perk of the job.
Dimitar Berbatov has joined Greek side PAOK after failing to agree a move to Aston Villa on Deadline Day.
Amazes me. Yesterday he's in Birmingham and today he signs for a Greek club. I couldn't live like that.
Discuss (if you want to).
Loadsamoney means life is jetset .. limousines, private planes, good agents, gullible/desperate club owners with too much money .. BUT .. I thought Greece was broke and the entire population's living in caves and wearing animal skins .. how can they afford to finance played out, has been footballers ?

But if you lived in Sidcup or Eltham..............................
Plus... comsider the cash
A guy named Mark Burke is the only Englishman on the list. Apparently he's played for 10 clubs in 6 different countries.
