An Evening With Boycott And Aggers

Saw this in Canterbury.

If you like cricket and either remember or have an interest in the history of the last 50 years or so I thoroughly recommend it if they come to a theatre near you.

Ah didn't know it was on in Canterbury or would have gone!!
  • Sounds good, they're playing Watford on the 29th, that's the nearest to me
  • I know that he has his critics, and fair enough as he has had a bit of a chequered past, but I could listen to Boycott for hours talking cricket - such a detailed and extensive knowledge of the game.

He can look at a player for a few balls, and then take their technique and flaws apart in a matter of minutes. Whilst others were wetting themselves over Steve Smith, dear old Boycs, said he would struggle when it moved about, and he was spot on.

Like Aggers as well to be fair, and people tend to forget that he was a bloody good bowler in his day as well!
  • I was there too last night. Very entertaining.
