More John Hewie stuff

As well as the cap and the blazer (that we still need help and money restoring) we have been given a number of photographs and papers

He're John's amended contract. His wages on 4 June 1962 were £20 pw in summer and £25 pw in winter plus £3 extra a week if playing in the first team.

Here that has been adjusted to £30 pw but with no mention of a first team bonus. His wages are also linked to our league position and gates. I wonder if that could happen now?

We have both contracts. This one is dated 2 August 1963. The original is from 4 June 1962
