Another manager leaves his job, Terry Butcher has left Newport County. A lot of managers going very early in the season

    Not surprised. An England legend, but not a good manager. Someone get the Appleton photo out.

    Had one of the best strikers in the country on loan and couldn't get the best out of him.

    He did very well at Inverness, with hindsight should have stayed there. Left Inverness for Hibernian when also in Scottish Premier so at the time appeared a move up the managerial ladder, but Hibs then went on a disastrous run loosing to Hamilton in the playoffs and going down. He left behind a good squad at Inverness who have continued to improve since his departure.
