We would, however the Wendys still have the open top bus.
  • He likes teams with a reasonable away support , he was never gonna stay with us , I understand where he is coming from

his memory is like his football ability, very limited
  • Why do we get so offended every time someone says something like this? Imo Sheffield Wednesday is a bigger club, so fair play to him. That's life. No big deal.

I think he was but not on the inflated wages Pardew gave him.

EDIT: Or maybe that was Racon.

I always think the fans liked him at the time because he had his own catchy song about hating Millwall, not for his outstanding abilities.

pretty sure powell said he decided against offering him a contract as we got Danny Hollands in early doors who could tackle and actually pass the ball.

Never had a problem with Semedo. Limited footballer but amongst a real shower of shit, he at least fought for the shirt and had a good relationship with the fans.

I quite liked him as a player, offered nothing going forward but defensively was good and he was always 100% committed.
  • Semedo is the sort of player who will generally by liked by supporters, especially in lower divisions, as he "gets stuck in", but was always a limited footballer

He was, but unfortunately it wasn't for life
  • Surprised he didnt mention he was also best friends with Cristiano Ronaldo in that tweet. He never normally passes up on an opportunity to do so

I don't think people are wound up about him playing for another club (as we didn't offer him a contract to stay anyway). More just at the fact that he is telling fibs!
  • I couldn't care less. Hand on heart.

  • He moved on to bigger and better things
Surely everybody wants to better themselves?
    Deal with it
  • As i put my arm round his neck and drunkenly sung "Sem-e-do whooooah , Sem-e-do whooooah , he comes from Portugal " he then joined in with his Portuguese accent and finished off with a "I farking hate millwall" at 6pm outside The Valley one Saturday , his stock rose to all time highs with me and I loved him for that one moment in time as we stood joined at the hip and professed our true hatred of the scum .....

The only man to win player of the year because he had the loudest song. The definition of average.

Still, Matt Holland ( fantastic guy, don't get me wrong) won it for having the cleanest shorts , so a loud song is as good a reason as any
