Even he looks like he's predicting a 0-0.
  • Yeah whatever Jacko , you'd love to be out injured so you could be at the Arsenal v Bayern clash

Don't blame him. I'm thinking about throwing myself down a set of stairs so I don't have to go as well.

'create a cauldron of noise', or at least an audible mumble.
  • Poor guy looks as disheartened as all of us.

I will be hunched up and detached as has been my usual demeanour of late. I will hope for distraction and diversion from the football, mainly interested in the development of our younger players. I will be hoping to receive some entertainment, goals, a win, points but not expecting anything. My conversations will be less about what is happening than the state of the club, emotionally I suspect I will be more likely to be pissed off than happy, at best I will feel grudging satisfaction if we win.

Sorry JJ, you and the players need to deliver a cauldron of effort and success for the next dozen matches to stir me from my slough of despond. Oh I will continue to show up, but with no relish for the occasion, no sense of excitement, anticipation or joy, but out of duty.

At the moment I expect the club and the players to do it for me first, before I do it for them.

It hasn't always felt this way for me, but I have been mug enough to get a season ticket, and it isn't going to waste. Still, there is always the fecking sofa and fecking cheerleaders and the fourteen chips and the feeling of being unwanted there to keep me going.

Any news from last weeks fans forum?

Well, that's the least inspiring thing I've seen today (until I go to The Valley later).

I thought the history of our club was not relevant. Funny how we get ourselves in trouble the club go running to a player with history with the club to get the fans onside.

Like with a lot of decisions off the pitch the decision makers think we are all idiots.
