A complete mess. Not only on the pitch. Something clearly isn't right at the club as a whole. We've got an owner whose last game was Bolton a year ago. The more I hear from her the more I think KM is out of her depth, obstinately dismissing any talk of the history of the club and what was once before.

I don't even know where to start, so fuck knows how Luzon will pick the bones out of that. He probably won't get the chance, I think he could be done. The players really don't seem to want to play for him. Ba and Bergdich dog shit. I know Bergdich isn't a right winger, but for a professional footballer not to stay in the position he's told to play is unforgivable.

3 left backs said it all. He's just pulling names out the hat at the moment. The only worry is if he goes, who the hell have RD and KM got waiting in the shadows. Bleak, bleak, bleak times. A night of shame and disgust for everyone associated with the club. We deserve better than that and the club owe us an apology for serving that shit up
  • Not sure I feel the same way about Charlton as I did before Roland joined. He's sucked the heart and soul out of our club. Dulwich Hamlet seem like a much better option right now.

words can't express just how bad that was tonight, not seen much worse in 35 years.

Wife who never says a bad word about Charlton us said pretty much the same
  • Truly one of the worst performances I've witnessed in my 43 years supporting Charlton.
Completely outplayed in every department,.Totally lacking in desire, skill, guile and belief. Shit.

I can't help but think that missing championship footballers means we go missing in autumn. Mix Powell's excellent English league player acquisition with the better European one's and we may have got somewhere: Not that Powell's team selection was perfect.
  • i can't even be arsed to dissect why we were so bad today. Where would I start? Probably with the shocking selection of Bergdich at right mid.

Suffice to say that his evening's performance was the most inept, baffling, frustrating and disjointed that I have seen for a very long time. Maybe not since Parky's final game.

It was awful and an embarrassment.
  • There is no defendbg that. Jacko came out and issued a rallying call and that was served up!
As others said no leadership and passion. What lovely fluffy interview will we see from the club this week to cover the sh!t were seeing

Time for Duchatelet to sell up. That's the only way for a better future. We're going down.

I didn't get the comments made by some people that they didn't care or couldn't be bothered to go to games.
Like a bolt from the blue after 35 years of watching charlton I now feel that way too and I don't like it one bit.

I want the club i fell in love with back.
  • Pathetic.
  • Keep giving points away like this, then we should change our name to DVLA athletic
  • So so bad. Worst I've seen in ages, and it hasn't been a stellar few years. We're in serious trouble. Don't see what sacking Luzon will do to help if the owners don't give a shit about bringing in the right players. To be honest, at the moment it's hard to see what will help, short of a miracle. There are 4 or 5 in that (very young) starting line-up who shouldn't be anywhere near the first team at this stage (and it's hard to blame them for looking totally lost). Can moan about injuries, but we ALL knew in August we hadn't signed enough players, and in what positions we were vulnerable. We'll look better IF we can ever call on a fully fit first team (we seem singularly unable to stop picking up 'knocks' that keep players out for weeks on end), but the squad is far too shallow, and it's starting to look like the bookies might have got it right at the start of the season...

At least all the travelling teams will enjoy running rings round us on the carpet of a pitch we have
  • Atrocious performance. The people in charge need to realise that certain players like KAG and THD are good prospects but aren't even nearly at the stage they need to be at to be constantly playing week in week out. I'm getting the feeling that the team are just promoting academy graduates for the sake of making up the numbers, and its consistently not working. RD & KM and all the other bellends in charge need to realise that we need investment into the squad more so than we need overpriced burgers and painted floors.

Cant wait for @colin1961 to come on here telling everyone what a grand job RD/KM are doing and this is only a short 'blip'....yes a nice pitch (not many players in our squad who can play on it), yes nice seats (no fans to fill them), yes new training ground (no new players to attract as we tumble down the division and maybe leagues)

I'm sure he will be on later Red, must be the only fool now who has any faith in the stubborn Belgian **** Marks out of 10 Colin.......???

  • Been going since 1961 and have seen worse but that was right up there with the worst of them. Not sure what to think really. I feel for Luzon because I think he's been had over but instead of digging in it seems the players as well as Roland are bending him over.

Not convinced he will be sacked which throws up the question of where we go from here.

    Depressed and despondent.

Well if- as is being reported - out budget is the 3rd lowest in the league, them rationally that's where you end up. Third bottom. Especially as you probably have the third lowest fitness and medical budget, so two of your better players - Kashi and Vetokele - have injuries that apparently defy diagnosis.

We were warned by the Standard fans that Luzon is tactically naive. But if they sack him tomorrow that doesn't address the issues I've mentioned above.

I really thought, in August, it was getting better. That's what's worrying. I thought they might, after all, have learnt, and got a plan. Seems I was wrong.

My first game in about a year, I won't be hurrying back. Can't believe people think it's the worst they've seen in XX years though? I've seen a lot worse.
It wasn't even all of Preston that beat us, just the North End!
Positives, the pitch still seems as lush as when I was last there.

Wasn't at the game but just read that Makienok broke down in tears at the final whistle. Someone posted a photo of him on FB crouching alone in the centre circle.

A lot of people like to knock him on CL but at least he cares. If only our other players showed the same passion as him we might not be in such a shit predicament.

No movement off the ball, no pressure on the ball, no tactical awareness but, worst of all, no passion. How many of the players out there looked like they gave a shit? Worst performance for a long, long time.

Not sure Luzon is to blame, but time for him to go.
KM shouldn't be here and is a standing joke in Football circles, as we are slowly becoming.
Owners idea of a cheap route to the Premiership now dead as a dodo. He might just clear off now.
  • Things are that bad I'm actually missing the pig on here

I feel for Luzon and the situation he finds himself in with injuries and a weak squad but you have to play players in positions they are comfortable in and he didn't do that tonight. His post match thoughts will be interesting.

Yeah he did... Went down on his knees and didnt move for a few minutes after the last player left the pitch.

To sing: Your not fit to wear the shirt to Solly, Jackson, THD, KAG, Cousins was extremely harsh!!
