Looking it up Formula Equal were being headed by Craig Pollock, ex-BAR, and Lo is a millionaire who pretends to be a billionaire so I think he found out he's not rich enough. Panthera was another name that came up, not sure if they morphed into LKYSUNZ (Licky Suns?!)
  • Yeah I'd completely forgotten about Calvin Lo , although he seemed to go quiet after Forbes discovered his net worth wasn't what he was making it out to be.
  • Ollie Bearman will be racing FP1 in Mexico and Abu Dhabi for Haas - Going to be a strong contender for K.Mags seat in 2025 if he impresses this next year.

The other teams are not in F1 for the sport, they are businesses who have to fund a lot of expenses to remain competitive. Its not greed but they dont want to have to stump up more money after Andretti dilutes the money they receive. Personally I think they need to be looking more at the teams expenditure ie huge corporate hospitality units/ motorhomes transported around the world, ridiculously complex cars/bodywork and wings, and high staff numbers/ wage costs.

  • Stroll has completely lost the plot. Would be dropping him immediately for Drugovich.

Really let himself down, petulant prick.
  • Great quali lap from Russell... Unlucky for Lando
  • lol!... this is hilarious... They're doing the top three interviews, and they don't know who they should be talking with

  • Absolute farce from the stewards , Piastri penalised in the interview???
  • Great Sprint Quali for Mclaren... Lando is going to be so frustrated though
  • Piastri is one hell of a talent. Penny for Alpines thoughts?
  • Max confirms his third championship, not that it was in doubt at any point really.

Yes he's been given the car to do it in, and he's still an insufferable prick for the most part, but by God is he some racer
  • Really fun Sprint race, caused by the likes of Russell going on to the alt. strategy

Reminded me of F2 with the amount of SCs , the Ocon/Hulk/Perez mess was just very odd.
  • 18 lap limit set for the tyres. Means everyone will be stopping at least 3 times
  • At times Hamilton can be such a cnut

Or alternatively, why was George defending against Lewis when Lewis was on the faster tyre.
Should have just let him go and retake the position when the soft tyres inevitably went off.

     It's a shame they didn't collect him.
I think that it's poor race management by Mercedes when their cars have started on different tyres.
  • Well spoken from Hamilton when asked about the incident.
  • Really interesting race, something a bit different... But cmon, its not a good look when you hear how exhausted all the drivers were after that race... But money
  • Next years race will be the last week of November, a much better time.

Hopefully @QatarNapsy is right and having it at the end of November will help. Rosberg was saying beforehand that it was already one of the toughest courses, with drivers having to hold their breath on most corners because of the G-force. Sargent was obviously in a lot of distress and thankfully nothing bad happened.
  • Hot, humid, no respite as they didn't need to look after the tyres, so essentially 57 quali laps, huge.G forces in multiple corners, it all added up.

Bernie avoids trial by pleading guilty to fraud. Has to pay £653m to HMRC for not declaring a trust fund he had.
