F**K @MarcusH26... Just realised we're going to miss the Monaco GP next Sunday what with the clash with the Play-Off Final...
Decisions, decisions.... Monaco is a complete borefest. Don't think that I would even be bothered to watch the highlights. I've had people say to me that the one GP that that they'd love to go to is Monaco. It's at that stage that I know that they don't really know much about F1.

have you actually seen the circuit at Monaco?, I have near enough walked the entire circuit and the fact that F1 cars can drive around it at the speeds they do is absolutely phenomenal. The racing is crap but the spectacle and the sound of the cars driving around the circuit is something I would personally love to see. And yes I do know about F1.

However, I'd go on a Thursday or Saturday, but never a Sunday!

But it is supposed to be a race and it never is.
no its not, but that can be said about many circuits, which don't generate the glamour and money that Monaco does. What you said was that people who want to go to the Monaco GP don't know much about F1. I do and I would enjoy the spectacle, the sound and the skill of the drivers doing what they do on a ridiculous tight circuit. I actually didn't like the place and thought it tacky, expensive and tawdry, but I would rather go there than say Las Vegas or Shanghai.
Plus whenever I have been to GPs you don't actually get to see much overtaking anyway (always seems to be happening elsewhere on circuit) one of the few I do actually remember seeing was Reutemann overtaking Lauda at Clearways to win in '78. Actually Brands Hatch is another circuit not really suited to F1, but I would love to see another GP there, even though overtaking is only marginally better than Monaco.

Far too many circuits fall into the "difficult to overtake" category. It's ridiculous. What fans love and want appears more and more irrelevant. In the days of the V12, V10, V8 engines, being in their presence was enough. It no longer is.
Formula E produced a pretty good Monaco GP a couple of weeks back but F1 just seems to struggle with the larger cars there.
Even F2 that you could stick in the local Big Tesco car park and 98 times of 100 they would produce a thriller has had the odd snoozer at Monaco. However they have the right idea with Group Qualifying there.

I booked to go away in October so I'm missing both anyway 😂😂
Monaco is usually a record it and fast forward race anyway.

Shows how safe F1 is now, for him to be able to just walk away from that
Feel for Colapinto, but like Canapino he's got some arsehole Argentinian supporters
