Erik van Haren is saying that Red Bull will confirm its line ups for next season with Verstappen and Hadjar / Lawson and Lindblad on Tuesday.

Arvid did much better yesterday in F2, and whilst Monza was very much the exception for his racing, he's very much copied Bearman, when it comes to picking up silly penalties and will really need to work on that next season.

He's also been hyped by Red Bull as their next big thing since Verstappen for a good few years now, so unsurprising they're not being patient with his development... I just hope that in part he's already checked out of F2 as his Qualifying also has much to be desired, along with Red Bull seeing data from him in the background, and like Bearman and Antonelli last year; F2 results are a terrible thing to confirm if a driver is ready or not.
Not convinced this is the best move for Red Bull or Lindblad. Feels like he needs a second season of F2 but he's been Marko's golden boy for years so straight into the frying pan it is.

Red Bulls academy in general is pretty weak at the moment so I'm not sure they have a lot of other options bar waiting 2-3 years for Fionn McLaughlin.
Was impressed with Colnaghi in Macau this year (Just the second time he's really competed with those coming from the FRECA route, whilst challenging with the F3 kids), whilst could potentially see Tsolov replacing Lawson

Mercedes have confirmed Kimi has received death threats after yesterday's race....

Will the FIA throw the book at a certain " advisor" and team for causing this?

I didn't realise but it makes complete sense that these drivers are protected online. for example all of Kimi's social media is monitored so he wouldn't of seen any of those messages anyway. Of course he would have his own private one for friends I would imagine.

I'd be surprised if anyone on the grid still manages their own socials , just not worth it this day and age.

Probably all controlled by management companies or the teams.
  • Sad... You watch any interviews with him, or any of the rookies, and they come across such good kids

    But no apology.

Fornaroli as their Reserve Driver, Verschoor to another Racing Series with McLaren, Costoya the future then

Its a nice reward for Fornaroli, best option he was going to get, but don't get why they got rid of Stenshorne

In bizzare news Cian Shields is getting an FP1 with Aston. Must be quite the cheque being cut there.

Feels like a year too early for Lindblad but he has been Marko's golden boy for the last few seasons. Just needs to cut out a lot of the stupid errors that we've seen in F2.

They have to be prepared to do it and if it happens, Oscar shouldn't have any qualms about it, as the boot might be on the other foot next season.

What on earth is the Haas that Bearman is driving?

What's the best position for the two drivers of one team to complete qualifying in, if they - for example - wanted to make sure a third driver didn't make it past the first corner of the race?

Must be a possibility we’ve just seen Hamiltons last ever qualifying session in F1. He’s 41 next season - he’s not gonna start getting faster again now

Leclerc the longest streak on the grid of not going out in Q1...

Hamilton gone out in 3 consecutive Q1s...

Yeah I'm genuinely thinking he's not going to be back. Would be a terribly sad way for a legend to bow out but I think he knows the 2026 Ferrari isn't going to be a major improvement and if the new regs don't suit his driving style either.

It’s a travesty Leclerc has had to deal with so many shit cars with his talent. I honestly think he is up with Max on pure pace.

Will Ferrari promote Bearman so quickly though?

Promoted Leclerc off of a year in the Alfa so they have precedence for promoting young talents.

Be cruel to destroy the positivity of another young driver if they do promote Ollie

Just look at what they've done to Charles!!

He'll win the race and we'll have another thing on our hands like Massa and Hamilton where someone lets Lando by late on in the race to ensure he still wins the championship, probably Russell

    Lando will take that tbh.

Max on pole but the McLarens are 2 and 3 so I imagine it's still Landos to lose

If McLaren play smart they can checkmate Max but you wait for Piastri to go in on Lando, cock it all up, let Russell by and play into Maxs hands

I will enjoy seeing Verstappen win, and his fans still not getting No. 5

Suspect they'll under fuel Yuki (He didnt set a lap, so wonder if they'll focus on him starting on new Soft tyres, so he can get a decent launch) and he'll do a similar job for Red Bull, to what Perez did in 2021 by backing everyone up

Norris needs to just have a clean start, but cannot let Piastri AND Russell past him on the opening lap
