  • And Bristol City away...
  • No away games for me until I get a run for my money. Would normally do Birmingham & Brighton. No chance while the current situation persists. The Club is taking the piss out of its loyal supporters, by not committing enough resources to put out a competitive team. That should be a minimum.
  • I don't really like Brighton as an away day, getting that little train to Falmer is a bit of a pain.

Drink in Lewes before and trains are plentiful.
  • Only registered masochists presumably.

Defeats the point of going to Brighton though !

Lewes is a really nice place.

A very good drink as well!

I'm sure Stornoway etc is very nice, but seems a long way from Brighton's ground.

Seconded. Loads of good pubs in Lewes and the trains are much quieter heading to the ground.

  • To be fair I believe in this instance 'restricted sale' just means they are making it difficult to buy them by closing down the ticket office and adopting a flawed online portal instead.

It didn't seem that bad when I used it, it's not as if Brighton's ground is unique in being a long way from the main town centre, and it's better than the Reading bus!
  • anyone reckon these will be on sale on the day as im away until next Wednesday and so will be too late to buy over the phone then, and cant get down the ticket office.

Only time I've been to Brighton I had a ticket, but I would expect them to have a cash turnstile.

Lewes is 10 minutes by train from Falmer with plenty of trains.
  • I thought the restrictions were to stop the riff-raff turning up and doing whatever they did the last couple of times.

Would paying on the day not hinder this plan ?
