Yellow Cards & Suspensions

The FA rules for the Football League state that a player who receives 5 yellow cards up to and including 30 November will serve a 1 match suspension, a player who reaches 10 yellow cards in the season will receive a 2 match suspension, our card count for those players who might be caught by this are:

Diarra: 7 - three more and a 2 match ban
Ba: 5 - received his 5th against the Wendies and will miss the Brum game
Bauer 4 - if he receives a yellow in the Brum game he will be suspended for one game
JBG & Bergdich: 3 each, should be OK for a while yet.

The Premier league have a cut off date of 31 December

I bow to your superior knowledge LL, but I thought Bauer had more than 4, did he not serve a 1 game suspension already?

Least we shouldn't have to worry about Bergdich getting the additional Cards...

Ba barely plays, come back against Wendies and does fairly well, but is now suspended, great! At least Cousins should be back?

A one match ban for a midweek game isn't too bad, especially for older players who might need a rest, but in this case Ba won't get a game for 3 weeks!
