What a fucking state we are in!!! It was only a couple of seasons back things were looking up again. People were feeling good about Charlton again, enjoying making that trip to the valley reminiscing again to their sons about how many times they have walked under the bridge to get their programme, have a quick look at the rubbish brands in the club shop but still bought the kits for the kids and a car sticker and air freshener for the car. Feel sorry for the hardy few travelling to these games. To fight well in a relegation battle you NEED experience, you also need squad depth due to the sheer amount of players, a good coach with experience also really helps. These things aren't much to ask for in the second tier of English football, we have next to none.
Fear Jan is leaving it too late, loans or journeymen in a late ditch attempt at most.. Painful.1 -
