Sorry, I hate to sound negative but are your efforts better off being focussed elsewhere? Read a post on here recently that fans queing to get in saw a black and white scarf and didn't have a clue what it was all about.
And I saw hundreds of fans waiting for a scarf on Saturday. We shifted 250 in about 60 seconds and could have got rid of twice or three times as many.
No one, least of all Joe or I, think that wearing a black and white scarf alone will bring the walls tumbling down. That's not what it is about. And it's not appeasement. KM was clearly rattled by the launch of Spell it out. She referred to it in public and told me to my face that I was "inciting a riot" so unhappy was she about it.
Wearing black and white is a way for people to easily show that they are unhappy and to be able to see that they aren't the only ones. More and more people are doing so and the message is getting out there. You can't and don't suddenly get 98% of fans all knowing about it and acting in an instant. It takes time but so far it's been a success.
Not everyone knows about it yet but if people are seeing the scarves and wondering "what's that about?" then we are getting there.
You said that our efforts would be "better off being focussed elsewhere" but you didn't say where? If you have a better idea then great, go for it.
Wish I did have a better idea Henry but the issue here is the detachment that exists between various fan 'groups'. As an example, just look at the Into The Valley forum and the way it speaks about CL for example. If we could all come together again and conduct a unilateral protest effort it would be a really powerful beast.
Mate, this was by no means a criticism of the black and white scarf effort, certainly not, and I genuinely praise all involved. I will gladly wear one and also donate. I guess, like us all, I am desperate for something really transformational to happen but indeed, transformation can take time.
Into the Valley and Charlton Life will never get on, but this is probably the right time for a truce or ceasefire so the focus is purely on the owner. This development is a fantastic opportunity to really ramp up our attempts to get this shower out and the overwhelming majority on both forums want that.

It is making a difference. Despite it being ludicrous KM is trying window dressing meetings to shut this issue down. Obviously the goalposts are changing and apart from her resignation there is very little she can do to stop the tide against her.
More fans are wearing them, more people are asking about them, it's small steps but it is clearly having an impact

We know the scarves and SIO have limitations. There is no magic pill other than a takeover by a mega rich Charlton fan but until that happens we can only do what we can do.
I agree that we as a fan group need to work together but again SIO is inclusive. Any one can wear the scarf and by doing so they show their solidarity with the campaign for change. Rick was wearing one on Saturday and so was Seth Plum and Prague Addick and me (until I gave it way). We all haven't seen eye to eye on how and what should be done and by whom but we can all wear the scarf and that unites us.

Black and white is the one thing that should unite the fan Base, it is a visible gauge of levels within the fan population who are in agreement and support, from there the next phase Can move on

Henry Irving has said previously the museum is apolitical. It is not Henry's museum, there are others involved and the trustees of the museum may all have differing views anyway.
KM will find the idea of wearing different scarves a joke and funny !! as she has no idea of football fans and scarves etc, i suggest a total boycott of one game , but have the fans got the guts to do it, and this would be reaching the tv companies etc if this happened
yes but with no effect who is bothered if a few fans dont turn up like now, but if no fans turned up that would be worthy news for tv , no club yet has no fans at all turning up for one game only, so its a big event, charlton fans always say that if u upset anything it wont make any difference, thats why KM finds it funny
