I came across these very talented youngsters when I would looking for the theme music of the movie Deliverance. Thought if there are any music buff on here, they might like to see these youngsters at a concert. Their name is:- Sleepy Man Banjo Band. There are quite a few videos on the internet if you are interested.

Sleepy Man is a bluegrass music trio from Lebanon Township, New Jersey, United States. It is composed of the Mizzone brothers: Jonny, Robbie and Tommy. The trio's debut album America's Music, was released in October 2011.

I don't know how many have tried playing the banjo? I tried at school once and it felt like a percussion instrument seemed very difficult to get a note out of so utmost respect for This 9 year old, amazing!

Love bluegrass. I got more into it through Bruce Hornsby, ironically as he's a pianist but in recent years he's got involved with the likes of Ricky Skagg.

I used to own a banjo but never learned. Can play guitar a bit but think it's a very different beast. Still, if Frank Skinner can do it...
